This is one of the only things that has had me worried about the n900. I'll have to use it on AT&T so I wont be able to use their 3G network.

Would this noticeably impact the n900 experience (outside of being a little slower)?

On my n95 (the non NAM/lacking American 3G) I noticed cellphone calls interrupt my internet browsing or prevents me from using googlemaps while talking to someone.

Does anyone have experience testing the n900 on EDGE? Outside of slower speeds, would an EDGE connection not be able to properly handle AJAX sites like gmail/wave/maps etc?

I think I could live with the slower webpage downloads, but if a lot of the web wont run like its capable of on 3G it might make me hold back on buying it.
