You're welcome! Hmm, I've not even thought of spare batteries yet, I guess I could just cannibalize my phone if needed

This case fits as good as any case found. Small, stretches to fit initially, once the belt loops are taken off, it fits easily in pocket. To me, it is my short and now long term case as no other case looks promising, especially the official nokia case.

And thank to those members who emailed me about the case. This is not me selling on ebay, so deal w/ someone else, but either way, this case is worth the $10

I put the batteries in the pouch on the BACK of the Nokia N800 (a secret pouch inside the case but on the back of the Nokia N800) because even though it has the little padded thingy in the middle... I didn't wanna find out if it would hold up if pressured to much... I put my spare 4Gb 150X Transcend in one of the business card pouches (12Gb total)... the little holder for my spare stylus is great too... the best thing about this case is I CAN USE IT WHEN OPENED!! This is absolutely the best case (for me atleast) and I am not even going to buy the REAL Nokia N800 when it comes out.

PS: For a perfect fit... take off the 2 little peices (which are removable for slimmer PDA's) from the end of the arms which is holding the Nokia N800 in place... Here is where I bought mine...

HHi, I was just wondering if anybody has tried the Otterbox for either the N770 or the N800.

I already have one of these without the clear screen cases, a 3000. The N770 fits fine, but of course I can not use it in the case, but good for traveling.

So please let me know if anybody has any experience with these boxes :-)

I have two of these, one recently purchased for the N800 (Model 2000) and the other (a larger one) for the 770 and am very pleased. (I got the Model 2000 from another source, not labeled Otterbox, for consideraly less cost for the unit itself and for shipping.) Check out postings in this forum by my name and you will see my various comments on the subject over this past year on the 770, and more recently on the N800 in this thread above. Let me know if you have any further questions.

I just ordered

OTTERBOX

Pros:

* You can throw your Nokia N800 off a cliff in a hurricane and it will be in perfect condition (almost).

Cons:

* Heaviest option.
* Bulkiest option.
* Ugliest option.

PROPORTA

Pros:

* Lightest option.
* Looks nice.

Cons:

* No side protection.
* No space to hold extra batteries or stylus (just SD cards).

CASE LOGIC PLT-2 STRONGMAN PDA CASE

Pros:

* Great padded protection (Normal drops won't do any damage).
* Perfect fit for Nokia N800 (as if it was built specifically for it).
* Stores 2 extra batteries in pouch BEHIND Nokia N800, extra stylus in stylus holder, extra SD card in business pouch, and some papers/business cards in remaining business pouches (everything inside case so no need to carry the extras in pockets).
* Do not have to remove the Nokia N800 from case in order to use it.
* Looks nice.

Cons:

* None.

EBay - $15.99 (Brand New)

Nice case.

I used a cut out of a soft plastic CD/DVD case. Cut it so it fit right inside the original case that comes with it. Protects the screen when I place a microfiber cloth on top.

By the way, how is that theme working for you? I had a few problems with it. Which version are you using?

Thanks.
