Nokia going to court again.

This time Nokia is suing LCD manufacturers and claims they colluding in price fixing. Currently U.S. Justice Department investigates price fixing in panel production and AT&T has filed similar suit as Nokia.

Description

At Nokia's Global Patenting Organization we employ a global team of patent professionals. We are now searching for a qualified European Patent Attorney for expanding our activities towards drafting and prosecuting patent applications directly in-house.

You will take care of the IPR process from drafting new patent applications up to grant of the applications within the Non-Cellular Interfaces and Circuits Patenting team. You will work together with research and development professionals, other IPR professionals, both internally and externally, as well as with patent offices wordwide. You will also be responsible in distributing the IPR knowledge over the organization, including mentoring and training candidates for attorney qualifying examinations.

Technology fields may include different areas of communication technologies, but are particularly focussed to the field of Non-Cellular Interfaces and Circuits like Mobile TV, USB, positioning technologies, memories, RF and baseband and power management circuits.


Qualifications

You are a qualified European patent attorney who has passed all exams for the professional representatives before the European Patent office. Ideally you are familiar with some of the above mentioned technology areas.

We are looking for a patent professional able to develop internal patent drafting, filing and prosecution activities. It is a great advantage if you have experience in training and mentoring. Naturally, your written and spoken English language skills are on high level and you enjoy working in a multicultural team.
