Are you paying for the phone or just £3.99 P&P? Mine is only £3.99, so they could easily have decided "Lets just get these damn things out and get there £3.99 off them afterwards!".
At least I'm hoping that's the case, because if mine wasn't despatched yesterday (along with all other problem free orders placed before 5th Oct) I'll be rather annoyed with MPD. Since they have said all along that they'll send them out in order date order.

Did you give MPD your PAC code, if so I think they sort it for you. But it might take a few hours before your number "proper" moves over. I've only ever moved one number personally, and it was simply a case of activating my new SIM (it was with T-Mobile) then ringing T-Mobile and giving them my PAC number from Orange.
Which is exactly what I will be doing when my N900 arrives. Which, if it does arrive today, will save me a bit of hassle since my PAC code runs out on 10th Dec!
If MPD have despatched them in correct order as they say they would, then we know that everyone that ordered before nugget (5th Oct) should have their's in the postal system now, and it's up to RM to get them to us today.

@nugget81 - Hope the unit lives up to expectations
My Status is still saying "new(Other)"
Despite ordering Sept 23
Anyone else with the same status and a late Sept/early Oct order date?
I shall be severely p'ed off if the until is not disptached today given MPD's email stating preorders dispatch will be in the order they were received.
And before anyone opines about failed credit checks - the order is for their Voda PAYG deal

I've stuck contact numbers all over my door today. Well done nugget. Shr3wd how much proof do you need
And as for first come first serve. The jammy sod lives down the road from the post office. Surely that can't be MPD fault? Oh wsait a minute, until I get mine evrything is MPD fault.
Nugget does the mic work?
