I unchecked the box, save it, go back to phone options, it remains unchecked.
No issue for me.
I'm using O2UK sim card with UK CV device

Why would you want to disable it. It is the feature that forwards your voicemail. I dont think it can be disabled.

Well, looks like a bug, right? So bugs.maemo.org would be a good place... :-)
And there it is: https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5607 - fixed internally and fix will be available in the next update.

I can uncheck the box, I press save, but when get back to the phone options the call forwarding box is checked again.
The "forward to" field displays a number (operator answering machine) the N900 must be getting from the sim card, since I did not put it there.
Anybody else has this issue?
