On a slightly side note, does anybody know if the Nokia 'sock' will be big enough for the N900?

no n900 for me today, thanks to that bunch of incompetent lieing twa*ts.

ordered on the 29th of september
informed it had shipped on the friday
aware that later orders had theirs shipped on the preceding thursday
half day taken off to await 'delivery'

deeply peeved with the performance of MPD!

MPD are really taking the piss, they were supposed to have posted mine on Friday so where the hell is it? This is special delivery GUARANTEED next working day. So I could forgive it not turning up Saturday, but where is it now?

If it turns out those October orders (which were shipped before our September ones) do not get charged delivery AT ALL then heads will roll. Although I suspect those October people will keep quiet now, if we complain enough they might bill them for delivery. I think that is more likely than refunding ours.

Also the sheer fact they give us no tracking details is to hide the fact they are posting these in a complete half-assed random order. What other excuse is there for the "allow 5 days" that they suddenly came up with.

I ordered in September FFS, I was near the top of the bloody list but appear to be shipped near the bottom. I suspect people who ordered in November will get theirs the same time as I get mine, possibly before at this rate. The whole point of pre-ordering is to secure your place in the list, if they ignore the list order (which they have) they are surely breaking contract.

Ordered 19th November - Vodafone 40 + Web 12mth 'Ready for Dispatch' (as of Fri 10.30). No calls, no emails.
UPDATE 12:35 7/12: Got called for Payment Confirmation, and was told delivery Tuesday! <3 UPDATE : Delivered Wednesday! Status + Email = Complete + Dispatched.

Well possibly- but what proof do we have?
I'm not getting any work done- I work with headphones on so I'm avoiding doing stuff which is effectively like not being at work otherwise I wouldn't hear them at the door. Sooooooooo mad. Do I have to do this all sodding week until it finally turns up?
