No. The control panel applet allows you to configure the MfE settiings.

2) How to completely remove MfE?
Open MfE control panel applet and select "Delete account".

Thank you in advance.
Bad news, TMO doesnt have engineers look into problems with 'unsupported devices" <facepalm>
It works on my G1 and i can even goto the OWA. But on the n900 i get nothin!
All i can conclude is that there is a problem between the n900, MFE, TMO, and my server (may need to be rebooted?)
I had a similar problem on my e71 a year or so ago....
I am new to exchange servers so i dont know where to find the logs.
I can access the OWA if i type in its IP address, so i also feel like it might be a DNS issue....BUT i can get there on my G1 browser...This **** has me stumped, and not having MFE is a real big killjoy for me...

Ok. Let us go hard way.

First. Log is needed. https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5597#c26 Could you attach it here?

Check that it does not contain any data which is sensitive for you and not relevant for the case, pls ( we never log your password, don't worry! ) .

You can filter only the activesync-specific part using the "grep activesync" cmdline

Looks like the instructions are here: http://wiki.maemo.org/Documentation/devtools/maemo5 Have not tried them personally as I use other (internal) repository for syslog. But it shoudl work, I guess :-)

If she uses upgraded firmware received from Nokia with NDA or smth. like this - no surprise. Otherwise it shall not work. Does she really uses MS Exchange 2003 server, not MS Exchange 2007 server on top of MS Windows 2003 server?

And additional series of questions to you:

1) MfE N900 works with your server (Exchange 2007) if you use your Wi-Fi connection, is this correct?
2) MfE N900 does not work with your server if you use T-Mobile GPRS connection, is this correct?
3) MfE for other phones (any - iphone, S60 etc) works fine via T-Mobile GPRS connection, is this correct?

all correct except 3. Mfe USED to work over gprs on Tmo on my NOkia E71, but not after i put my sim into the n900. But it does work in my G1 still, i can even navigate to teh OWA site on my G1. On my N900, i can only go to the OWA site's IP address, which makes me think its a DNS issue? I am so totally lost, i emailed TMobile's CEO hoping he would get me in contact with an engineer. That may take a few days to hear back...

It might be exchange 07 on top of server 03...

After that you'll see fmms.log in filemanager or when you connect the device to your desktop as a mass storage device.
E-mail the log to me, if you don't have the email address, drop me a PM. Thanks!

I was also recieving the "Exchange server requires secure connection or account is disabled" error. I had exported the certificate chain of our private CAs and imported them to the device with no change, either over WiFi or GPRS.

After finding the following bug report, I fixed it after seeing that what Labra had suggested was the case. (comment 17)

https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6467#c17

The user-imported certificates are being imported 'into /home/user/.maemosec-certs/ssl-ca', and MfE only seems to look at certificates in '/home/user/.activesync/certs'. Copying the imported private CA cert files allowed me to sync.
