Even after charging for 12 hours, after a few of which the green 'charged' light came on, 'lshal' still reports battery.charge_level.percentage as 95.

Is this normal ? I was expecting '100' :-/

That's probably normal, yes - charging the battery completely can damage it (as can a full discharge), so the system should be preventing either of these situations from occurring.
