For anyone who needs the deb, you can grab it here. Should work on 770 and 800

http://pupnik.de/shfs-utils_0.35-6.2_armel.deb

Download and use application manager to install from file, or go to shell and use dpkg -i to install.

I don't really use this stuff, so let me know how it works for you.

Hu?!?
This was allready ported using FUSE....!...

From Maemo...

FUSE
With FUSE it is possible to implement a fully functional filesystem in a userspace program. See FusePort. With these packages you can browse ssh remote file system directly from the N770 file manager. Please tell me if you need other protocols (samba, ftp, webdav, gmailfs, ...) and i'll try to port them! It works from command line and from GUI with a simple (and ugly) python program.

Yes is for the 770.... Just update your firmware to the latest... and scirocco is not a distro is a code name for the latest maemo firmware release.

Yea I didn't mean distro, you got the drift

Well now I'm messing around and trying to put it in fstab, has anyone done this on the 770?

I think I've almost got it... but if i could see some examples that would be awesome
