If the time reported by the person that got called is correct, my N900 was quietly lying on the table at that time.
And in my pockets the keyboard cannot come out since the device is in a pouch.

I know my N900 tends to unlock when i put it in my case that uses a magnet. Maybe your phone is close to something similar ?

LMAO! I was thinking the same thing when I read the OP.

Also when the phone is locked you could press the powerbutton and swipe to unlock and since this is resistive it doesn't have to be a finger.

But if this is just about unwanted unlocks I think every phone model has those problems. Happens to everyone, I even have my phone both offline and off when I work not have these problems (because of earlier experiences with other phones)

If the phone was lying flat on the table at that time, I don't think it could have been unlocked accidentally. So far I've been told only of one such mysterious call. After that, I rebooted the N900. It had several apps running, but neither the contacts list, nor the phone app.

My phone started calling my contacts right after I watched paranormal activity..go figure.

Hope it doesn't work the other way round and you get mysterious phone calls while watching Ringu.

Had this once to! The phone called out of it self while being locked. When i checked my phone it was recording a nice voice-mail for the person at the other end.

I would avoid that phone call like the plague..
