Just reboot the phone then rotate the pictures. The N900 gets thoroughly confused at times regarding what's up and what's down.
go into camera settings and turn of image rotation, that should sort it. was the same on s60 n-series devices

What is even more interesting is that when when the images are views as thumbnails, they are upside down, but are rotated 180 degrees again when viewed full screen. This results in the images taken with the camera appearing right-side-up in fullscreen, and images already on the camera appearing upside-down in fullscreen.
This didn't occur with the first couple of photos taken, and has only appeared in the last couple days. Wondering if anyone else is seeing it and if it related to an installed app.
