Well I create a dir as user, sshfsmount, group and user are "users" and "user" respectively.

sudo gainroot

now i'm root and i run the command:

sshfs user@remotehost:./ sshfsmount/ -o uid=29999 -o gid=29999

and it mounts. If I ls sshfsmount it shows user and group as "user" and "users" respectively. I can see the files in it, and even cat them. So that should be fine right? Well I open up filemanager and browse to documents and sshfsmount is there, listed as a greyed-out file not a folder, and when I click it it pops error saying "unable to open" .

I'd like to be able to access my files through file manager etc. Then perhaps canola could even access the files... that would be sweet...
