kwotski Re: File Manager - a rather weird behaviour
It's apparently a known bug: https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6367 and https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5838
(I think. Since I don't have the problem I haven't read those in-depth)

displayed double, file manager, strange behaviour |

Today I encountered a rather weird behaviour of the file manager. It displays the 5 folders which exist by default (Audio clips, Camera, Documents, Images and Video clips) twice.
Same thing applies to the rest of above-mentioned folders.
Some tests:
1)PC Storage Mode - shows that only 1 instance of the folder exists.
2)XTerm: cd MyDocs also shows only 1 instance of those folders
3)Looking at the picture: let's call the 'top' Camera folder A, and the 'bottom' one B; creating a new folder in A will result in it properly being created and shown inside the folder just after creation. However, then pressing 'back' and going into folder B will not show the file in there. Now, creating a file in folder B will not result in any error message, but the file does not seem to be created inside the folder (it's simply not displayed there). However, going back into folder A will lead to the file created in folder B being visible. So as a result we have both files displayed in A, but none of them in B. Exiting the file manager and relaunching it will result in the files being displayed in both A and B.
Before I noticed that I created a back-up file (all things ticked) and then restored from it (just to see how it works). Could this possibly have caused a problem? I'm not entirely familiar with Linux-based systems but I believe that's irrelevant; I just have no clue what could have caused such a weird behaviour.
Anyone has an insight on this issue, a solution, or something to try? All help is appreciated.
