OK,

I'm not getting any sound while playing Bounce Evolution. Otherwise my speakers/headphones work correctly. I tried a reinstall of the game, restart etc. but nothing helped.

Any ideas what could have caused this?

I'm going to buy Bounce Evolution if it's released in full. That's saying something because I don't play computer games and I don't get the attraction that they have for other people.

The only three causes for sound loss I can think of are that the phone is on silent profile, volume is set to zero or the sounds have been disabled from the game menu. If neither one of these is the case here then it gets more difficult because this is the first time I've heard anyone having this kind of a problem.

I played it for about 5 minutes, it was fun. Took me a while to figure out i can jerk the phone upwards to make the ball hop. I'm not really into games like that so i just finished the first level and exited but looks like a nice game to show off to people.

I was playing Bounce Evolution when something weird happen. I have found myself between the clouds... somewhere in the air. Is this a bug or... what happened? I've attached a couple of screenshots.

That's funny.. I haven't seen anthing like that cloud when playing. You jumped really high..

Now that I actually found this thread.. are there anyone from Rovio reading this? I know there's at least one member here working there.

The issue I have with the game is that it'll only play if you hold the N900 horisontally, which I never do. It's more like 45, or even 60 degrees vertical. To hold it horisontally would be really awkward. What about an update which calibrates the 'zero' position when the game starts, i.e. just like the 'sheep' application does?

(The above doesn't apply to the racing game of course, which only seems to care about the side-to-side accellerometers)

I guess you got outside the map, this can happen with games. I remember playing GTA: Vice City one time and after jumping out of a car inside a tunnel I began falling outside of the world.. After five seconds the game crashed

Actually the current neutral position isn't completely horizontal, but instead the angle which you get when you put the phone on the stand.

We did consider allowing user to calibrate the sensor, but it would require adding all kinds of calibration screens, text tutorials etc because taking calibration from initial orientation is just too confusing. But I agree, it would be nice to be able to set the neutral angle based on personal preference.

Ah, but, as you know, the built-in stand has a useless angle..
That's why we all bought the laser-cut stands from Fake!

I tried starting the game with the N900 on the built-in stand, and indeed it seems to be in neutral position then. But I can't hold it in that position, even if I wanted to: The light from the fluorescent tubes in the ceiling is perfectly reflected at that exact angle, it's the most useless of all angles actually. It would be nice with either a different (more vertical) angle, or auto-adjust. Please take another look at the sheep application, auto-adjust isn't as unintuitive as you may think.
