Hi everyone, wondering if anyone has had the same issue as me? Seems to only have been since yesterday though.


I ensure that i have unticked the GPS bits here



And then for the rest of the day, the GPS logo still appears on my desktop in the top left. Go back and check and it's not enabled....


I'm sure a reboot will probably fix it, just intrigued...

I've been using this device 1-2 weeks now and first thing i learned is that this device has a some "undocumented features" (aka bugs) and most of them i can get rid of just rebooting it, but still...

have you been taking any photos with geotagging on? I'm just wondering if it somehow enables gps even if its not enabled in settings?

thats a good point - it annoys me that when i want to use the camera and have gps disabled, it asks me if i want to turn it on before hand... !!!! No No Noo!!! I want to use the camera, so get of my darn screen and let me use it!! - aghhhh that winds me up!

Anyway, i always hit no to that, so should not be turned on.
