When i use the N900 browser and type in file: i see only directories except for 2 files and one is omweather.xml 13kb is that correct for it to be in that place?
My omweather widget will not update to correct gps location. It still thinks I am in Camarillo California when I am in Reseda California and that was 20 hours ago 40 miles away.
In fact removing the widget and trying to get the app itself to show correct gps location does not work either.
I have network and gps location enabled and I have tried adding and then removing many times the widget, changing interval for update. When I finally succeded in forcing the app to update it chose wrong location.

This is the strange behavior.
Did you start gps application during your traveling?
I need your file /var/lib/gconf/apps/maemo/omweather/\%gconf.xml and gps coordinates of missing place.

Hi Tori.

I have found one hour for your problem. I not had time for new variant of downloading (by Pavel Fialko), I have fixed bug in downloading in my code. You can find new version of omweather for Diablo (0.22.8) here

There is no such thing as a gps application so I don't understand your question.
I just got another reboot which I had thought i had completely eliminated but I still see that omweather file in the parent directory and you have not explained its presence.
You have until I wake up tommorrow to fix this.
If you do not explain to me why there is a xml file in my parent directory or offer a clear way to fix the non functioning app that has already been repeatedly added and removed from my desktop as a widget I will delete this xml file and uninstall your app and never look back.
I'm sorry but I cannot tolerate random reboot and I have almost eliminated the cause and my reboots are almost down to zero and your omwether xml file is the only oddbal left that is sitting in my parent directory that does not look like it belongs.

F*** lesser than symbol backslash gconf greater than symbol
Who the hell in Nokia decided it was ok to leave out greater than, lesser than and percentage sign from keyboard?
gps location?,...........fine i'm waiting for 3 minutes now and it is not getting lock on location widget.
I go outside and immediate lock on location. It doesn't show any coordinates so I can only give you the location by street name (I'm moving anyways so who cares) 7300 block Tampa Avenue Reseda California 91335
Wait....omweather widget has just corrected itself, it shows correct location.
Ok so I am happy now except why is that file in my parent directory?

You know what. I just tried to uninstall omweather and it won't let me. Please explain to everyone here that they will first have to uninstall all omweather icon sets including begginner before they uninstall omweather app.
Ok nevermind i just explained it.

Then they can uninstall omweather app and then databse for omweather app.
I uninstalled all of it so you don't have to reply to my post on this thread anymore.
Your omweather xml file has disappeared from my parent directory after uninstalling all icon sets and the app and that is what i was trying to achieve.
I hope I don't have any more reboot issues related to high cpu usage now.
This is the last thing i can think of that might be causing them as i have removed every app and file from my N900 since i got the reboot issue and it has almost gone away.

I have found file omweather.xml in root directory. This is unnecessary file. You can remove it. I will fix this bug in the next version of OMWeather.

I have the same problem with my N900. I have filed a bug: bug 8847.

is it normal, because since I've downloaded the latest version, I keep getting to new locations. Meanwhile, I'm already 10 stations that can prove I call, each with a city. Is this a bug or intentional? And how many stadiums next??

I seem to still have a problem with GPS positioning in the OMWeather. I always use the latest version of the widget and the latest database. Previously the GPS insisted that I was in Vyborg when I was actually several hundred kilometers away in Tampere, Finland. Now it claims I'm in Reboly (where ever that is - certainly not Tampere, Finland where I am). Any idea what might be wrong?
