Its been awhile now and in the UK im still getting coming soon. This is really poor from nokia it should have been out in line with the n900

what the hell is taking so long anyway just open it up even if it has a few apps its better than nothing

This and the fact that the Ovi Suite does not work for the N900 are too irritations that need sorting if the N900 is to be seen as a main stream device IMHO.

But it is still a great device and i can wait

My personal guess is that there are two options:

1) Ovi store for N900 opens with the next firmware update, which I would think happens in 1-2 weeks. This I think is the more likely one.

2) Ovi store for N900 opens sometime during spring at the time the OVI store overhaul happens. Nokia pretty much told that the current OVI store is a temporary placeholder and the real effort has gone the complete remake that should be out H1 of 2010. Hopefully the N900 wont be without a store that long.

I believe it's option 1... Makes sense in regard to DRM...

would be nice to start getting some good apps for the n900
