Hey all,

Being a Chicago, IL native, I would love to stream 670 The Score (a local radio station) to my N900. It works alright by going to the website (http://www.670thescore.com/) and clicking the link in the top right to listen now (which takes you to http://player.play.it/player/player....nestat=wscr-am).

The only issue with this is that the site itself is very content heavy, and makes the n900 lag a little bit. Its still usable, but the device becomes somewhat hot. Is there any way to get that into the Internet radio section on the media player? I've never really messed with internet radio much, and I did some googling to not much success.

I did see the program like Canola, but from what I see it isn't for the N900 yet. Any internet radio gurus mind pointing me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Do they offer a real audio stream instead of forcing users into keeping the browser open? That would be the easiest way...

Yeah thats kind of what I was trying to figure out, but I dont really know where to look.

Andre, do you happen to have an example of a site that has a stream like that? That way I can see if they have something comparable.

I was even looking for sites that offer streaming radio just for music, but I dont really know what to search for to get more web addresses to import into the internet radio app.

Nevermind! I found it on mobtuner.com. As a reference for others, looks to be a decent spot for getting streaming radio on the n900

Hello homie,
Have been using this site to get a lot of Chicagoīs radio stations

http://www.thestreamcenter.com/pda/index.asp?client=

Just search for "wscr" and there you go.Best used with canola. Have been listening for a couple of years now on my n800.

Btw try the "wmvp" search as well. A lot of sports talk. Go Hawks,Bears and Sox

PS just copy the urlīs from the above mentioned site into the canolaīs internet radio section.
Hope that helps.
