Hi, I just bought a N800 to take on a trip with me. I know that it has a built in video camera for video confrenceing, is it possible to use the camera to take still and/or video and save it for later use?

The N800 not a good camera/video recorder. Best to use a proper cam/video device for that.

There is a still camera app for it, but luke is right: the image quality is poor. It wasn't meant for photos.

Actually there are both still and video apps for it, but the video only seems to playback properly on the N800's own app.

The camera needs a lot of light, but if you can get that it could be considered good enough to at least document that you were there.. that is, with enough light the camera is still better than nothing!
