No. The screen protector Nokia put on the N800 is -- understandably -- not the best product available. It's indeed good for a few weeks, but, as you have discovered, it's not ideal as a permanent screen protector.

I bought a set of three from a German company, http://www.schutzfolien24.de/ and the first of the three has been on my N800 for more than three months now. It's still scratchless.

This http://www.schutzfolien24.de/Display...Nokia-n800.htm is where you can find the N800 protectors. They're not the cheapest (6 Euro/pce, including the extra one) but I can vouch for the fact that they are quite good. They also reduce the N800's screen glare by quite a bit and give nice tactile feedback for the stylus.

Just check if they ship outside the EU.

otherwise, go with Brando: http://shop.brando.com.hk

do not get the ultraclear as it is very reflecting. I got the standard protector and using the tablet everyday, it is still perfect after months of use.

As far as I know, ships worldwide, here in italy I didn't have problems

And I don't use any screen protector. Once I removed the plastic cover, I haven't had a single scratch on the screen. It's good quality and won't scratch easily.

Good luck with that. Personally, I paid $12 to be safe, and protect my $400 device. Plus, you can't even tell there is a screen protector on mine, very transparent.
