can n900 play java based browser games in the future?

i would love to play runescape on n900 xD

It can run java-script - but i do not think it can run full java files (Pretty sure it can not)
It can however play flash based games (Or at least some)

You can run java apps if you install a Java Runtime Environment as described in this thread : http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=37405

Beli you might want to check Overlords previous threads and level of experience before recommended a thread that starts with this:
It worked fine for me to install java (through apt-get netbeans from debian/lenny) after repartitioning the N900. I'm able to compile and run (javac/java) JAVA- (.class-)files now on my device.

omg =( i want java too but with my skills i dont think i can have it =/ can u try running runescape on your n900 and see if it works?

in the future can an app make java possible? i must have java =(

I have been looking for a runescape .jar package, but I havnt found one...

Java doesn't run in the browser though so I can't do it the normal way

yeah we need java so we can play runescape =D pls make it possible to noobies =) anyone have treidn to start runescaoe?
