Okay, so I just installed PR1.1 and I've read that rotation is now supported in the browser.

However, I see no evidence of this. Was I misinformed that rotation was added to the Web browser in PR1.1 or am I just missing the setting to enable it?

The portrait web-browsing is not enabled by default. Press Ctrl + Shift + O in the browser to activate it.

Found a trick. If for some reason it doesnt work after ctrl+shift+o, call your phone which will force it into portrait mode.

After I did that and went back to the browser and tried it, it worked

Well the CTRL+Shift+o worked perfectly for me. It's even persistent between reboots. Great stuff!

Mine isn't working. Not sure what the deal is. Pressed ctrl-shift-o umpteen times and it's still hasn't switched to portrait. Any ideas?

edit: nevermind, it works.

just for the others... you need to slide back the keyboard so the device detect the rotation.
