Hello
eCoach now uses new map widget which allows all kinds of new features. Adding previous route for comparison could be implemented someday... but for now im still concentrating on getting all basic features in place for Fremantle version of eCoach.
wont be continuing support for legacy versions of eCoach, so i suggest you to wait for new maemo device when it someday comes out
Or maybe fremantle version of eCoach can be run on Mer, i dont know...

I had an app for my Android phone which would allow you to race against your previous workouts over the same route. It would speak to you every couple of minutes and tell you how far ahead or behind you were and give your total distance. This would be a fantastic feature to implement if possible as I'm sure that I'm not the only one who needs a bit of competition when running.

Would it be possible to have an option where you could view live data, comparing with a previous workout over the same route in real time.
I use Nokia sports tracker, but am probably going to pick up a N810 while they are so cheap, and really fancy running this app as well, this added functionality would be really great though
