Anyone notice that when you go to settings and click on the title bar and where it used to just say restore original settings that it now also says "enter code for unlocking sim"?

Mine was unlocked when bought and now its locked grr

Do you mean that you can't use your sim card on another phone or that you can't use your phone with another operator's sim card?

not sure don't have anything at hand to test, im hoping they haven't locked the phone to Vodaphone so i can't put an O2 sim in etc.

I think you might find that is to allow you to unlock the sim card if you enter an incorrect pin 3 times in a row

It's not a provider lock. I bought mine unlocked and the same button is there.

It follows the terminology used in Symbian S60. Maybe Gil can check this one for us? Is this for PUC code entry?
