What happens on the N900 when you receive this SMS?

It should show as an SMS message with a special symbol and a text (depending on your language) that you can click on.

vcf files are supported. Just save the file to the phone, then open the Contacts app, and "Get Contacts".

Its better, if you have multiple entries, to save them all to one file.

It shouldn't look like that. You shouldn't see all these contact details. It should be one single line (in the German user interface it's something that means "Business Card") that is a link you can click on.

What you see reminds me of troubles I had sending VCards from my old Siemens mobile to newer handsets.

Do you know the model that sent the vcard?

I don't know which model my friend uses! I tried to send vCard to myself! It worked correctly.

So it is not N900 fault

It is Sony Ericsson.
If this is the case, why Maemo team can not implement vCard 2.1 to Nokia N900?

If you look to the attachment that I posted, you will see that the vCard is version 2.1
