Hi.. I know this has been spoken about before but I cant seem to make it work. On my n900, application manager wont refresh all the catalogues. I tries restarting the fone but application manager keeps on saying, "Application list partially refreshed. Some catalogues unavailable. check catalogue details." and when i do, the problem is with 3 catalogues...

1- maemo.org
2- maemo extra-devel
3- maemo.org extras-testing

and when i go into the details for instance for maemo.org, at the bottom of the screen, i get with red text saying...
"http://repository.maemo.org/extras/dists/fremantle/release.gpg
Could not resolve "repository.org"

Could anyone help?

oh and only thing I done that maybe be the cause for this could be that i tired using the x-terminal to install fmms.deb file and had to type in "dpkg -i /home/use....." or "apt-get fmms.deb" which didnt work anyway. Hope this helps to help me

If you know its been spoken about before, then how bout posting in one of the two threads already on this issue instead of making another pointless thread

sorry!! i haven't realized that there was an exact thread about this, ive just seen few that mentions this but could solve my problem anyway and 2, i had another n900 in my hand which worked perfectly fine so i thought it might be what i've done that messed it up for me! so don't need to be rude!

From reading the other threads the answer is soon but as it is the weekend I am guessing it will be mid monday.

hi, can anyone tell me if the extras devel & testing repositories are working? my app manager tells me they are unavailable. thanks
