hi all.
just got new n900, loving it. surprised when picked up WD network storage on home network, so thought id try logging in remotely through Mionet.com but says need Suns Java plug in to work? am i missing something as i thought java was supported out the box?

There is no Java support whatsoever. There are efforts to make it work, but it's definitely not "out-of-the-box".

You might want to try the Java binaries from Debian ARM. Also, try the search feature

oh, my misunderstanding then... thanks for your advice, although even though i consider myself as not a basic user (which is onw reason i got n900 and not iphone) and they said this was a geek / hackers dream, i have no idea what id do with what u just said haha ill google it and see what comes up... thanks for your reply... looks like i could learn a lot here
