I love Apple computers and will always have them at the top of my buying list. But I use a Cowon music player, an N900 (and an HTC G1)@ before that. I also run Kubuntu on an MSI netbook.
This article is clearly trying to make it seem like all Apple users are insane. Not true.

There's a lot to be said about the religious-like fervor that *all* tech and media communities seem to have. While this one is no less extreme than some others I've heard, its very interesting to see the stone being thrown in this glass house.

Less a stone throw, more the firing of a Gating gun.

Oh stop it. You'll anger the Great Apple that is all-knowing and all providing. You should welcome out new apple overlords, not berate them.

Seriously, last time anyone poked fun at a cult with this many followers we crusaded their behind into oblivion. Poke fun at your own risk. One of these days, they are gonna be waiting with their apple-shaped swords with their white plastic handles and their white shields with light-up logos.

The great Apple Marmalade of 2010 is upon us!

(I guess if crosses begot crusades, then apples beget marmalades?)

Do you know anyone here who would buy everything Nokia releases or try to visit retail locations in different cities for the hell of it?

If I'm biased, and I try not to be, it's because Linux meets my beliefs, not vice versa.

Dave Greenbaum, a computer repairman in Lawrence, Kansas, said he started falling in love with Apple because of a 1984 television ad that compared rival PC users to drones, reminiscent of characters from George Orwell's novel "1984."
The irony is mind boggling.
