Hey guys, why is it not possible to create multiple Mail for Exchange accounts ? N900 is only letting me define one. Is there any way around this ?

Thanks in advance

Is there a technical limitation for this?
We can have multiple gmail accounts though and works fine. What is the issue with exchange? (outlook also allows creating profiles to do this).

No, email is working fine for me too .. The thing is that right now, if you want to sync Google Calendar with your N900, you need to go through www.nuevasync.com, which requires Mail for Exchange, and if you use Mail for Exchange for this purpose, you cannot use it for any other purpose ..

Thats why I was wondering if its possible to use multiple MfE accounts or not ..

It's certainly not a limitation on the protocol side, as the Palm Pre happily support multiple ActiveSync accounts. Maemo, Symbian, WinMo, iPhone, etc... just don't support it and it frustrates me so much.

I'm also crossing over from the Palm Pre world and also found this limitation strange. I guess the Pre is the only phone out there allowing multiple activesync accounts?

I actually need three. I manage a data center infrastructure and use a separate email account for alert emails. The third, as per this thread, would be Google so I could have my personal calendar and contacts synced. I had it set up on my old smartphone such that after regular working hours, only the alert email account was set up in "push" mode.

No big deal though, for now I just have my pre at my bedside just functioning as a wake up alarm in case there's some service outage at work.
