Anyone able to access log me in from their n800?

I am able to log in, and when i try to go to remote access, i just get a big black screen, and it's really annoying

tried this in opera and in minimo, and the same thing seems to happen

anyone got any tips?

need suport of java and n800 don't have it. Try with vnc viewer in linux or rdesktop in windows

Even if there was Java support, it wouldn't work. The Opera browser isn't supported by LogMeIn. I actually spoke to a woman on their support team, and they "have forwarded your suggestion regarding Opera support on to our development team for consideration in a future upgrade." I hate to be a pessimist, but it'll never really happen.

Hamachi + VNC = LogMeIn, albeit a bit harder since there's no hamachi gui yet.

I'm sort of working on that, I swear. Java's just more fun

have you tried porting gHamachi? the gtk libs are already ported for gaim i believe so I don't see it being a longshot

GTK libs are part of Maemo, yes. Maemoizing gHamachi would probably take quite a bit of time --- re-organizing the UI and such.

With the amount of effort that would take, and given my personally modest needs, I'd rather code it up as a status bar plugin supporting start/login and logout/stop only.

Setting it up via the command line isn't -too- bad, it's just bringing it up and down and checking the status, for me

That would be good enough for me!

Thanks!

Anything which makes use of Hamachi easier on the Nokia 770 & N800 will be a great bonus aleksandyr. Thanks for taking a look at what can be done to provide a status bar. Would a desktop applet be possible so that more of the hamachi command line features could be included?

Once again Thanks for looking into this
