I'm not dismissing the complaint, as I'm sure I've made abundantly clear.

I am specifically criticizing the approach.

Yeah.. I personally have started to dismiss people because their ability to convey their message is just downright annoying.

But, I personally don't ever overlook a valid complaint.. nor would I stand in the way of someone fixing or adding whatever problem/feature is being requested.

It's just seriously... after a problem is known to be a problem.. when does it stop?

They produce fine devices, and I have tried to stick with them. This is no spam, this is reality. Many individuals have complained of email difficulties on this device.
Whoa, whoa. I'm not discrediting anybody here.

If anything, I'm talking about the entire forum not being dismissive. Not just Texrat. I don't think that he was dismissive, per se... but at the same time I do think that you've complained to a point of where you might be dismissed.

Simply put, how about working with people to solve your problem perhaps. You might not be the only person with this problem.

Now... how do you do it? Set up a brainstorm. Establish what you want done, what's missing... and use verbose verbiage that will assist you and others. That's what a community is all about.

Not to whine, not to complain ad nauseum. Even I've added some stuff to the N810 side. I'm sure you can add this kind of stuff to the N900.

Help others, just not yourself. Otherwise, you will get dismissed from this community.

Take care.

As did I.

I refuse to state that either side is 100% wrong. But at the same time, I'm not saying anybody is 100% right either.

I see a grievance handled improperly. I see a group that could solve, or specify why it wrong. And I see a whole lot of ego that doesn't need apply here.

Look a couple of posts earlier. I'm for this community 100% though.

Which part of that is misunderstood?

Funny, what I see is frustration that just manifests in different ways. Different does not automatically mean wrong, of course (see signature) but I think most of us are well aware that certain approaches backfire. And after they're well past the point of backfiring, if the original party doesn't get that, you're right: they tend to be dismissed.

The crucial point is, many here tried hard to head that off. Self included.

It also doesn't say it does, along with not saying it supports a whole host of other features. You made an assumption.

Nokia quite clearly state that the E series devices are for enterprise and N series are multimedia/fashion devices.

And to cut out the misunderstanding around my last post... "Which part of that is misunderstood?" is not towards anybody

Want it frankly? Guber99, start working with the community. Tons of intelligent folks here that might have ways of helping you, and ultimately helping out Nokia. That's why this community exists.

Texrat, keep doing what you do. Fair, even, balanced and active. The quotes were unintentional. Thus I'm not targeting you, just one of those things where I hit "Reply Now" and your post was probably the last thing I read.

Community... stop dismissing folks so quickly - even when they make it easy.

Folks... stop making it easy to dismiss you. Search, view, watch, contribute. Seriously, you'll get more done that way than by multiple post/thread complaining and not making yourself clear.

All, if I've offended you, it was not intentional.

Did you miss the bit about step 4 of 5 too?

Says business users with high end multimedia solutions, nothing about enterprise solutions!
