It would be good to keep this to positive things about the N900 if possible as I just wanted to hear from others who were also loving the N900.

22) iplayer mod

I forgot to mention this one earlier. This little tweak allows you to download bbc iplayer content to the phone. This is so cool and will keep me entertained when I fly long haul shortly.

This device does all I want it to do at the moment and if it doesn't do something then it probably will do soon.

I also love the open source nature that makes it so flexible and customisable.

So come on. What are the good points for you?

I agree with the list. Haven't had the phone for too long, but I love having a netbook alternative in my pocket, which is sometimes faster to browse with!^^

I gave it a shot, I love maemo 5....but the hardware sucks! which is why I'm selling, its a shame really! :-( It has everything I wanted in a phone, but it is the definition of a brick, lose some weight and inches and we'll talk. :-)

If you are using POP3 then this is how the protocol is supposd to work. There is however a thread under discussion on changing modest to prompt for deletion from server too in a manner similar to Symbian.

Anyone else had enough of list threads like this (and the negative ones)?

It's all been discussed to death - use the search.

I am a relatively new user to this forum, the N900 and Maemo/Linux.
I find threads like this really interesting and useful and often pick up new tips to customise my N900. So whilst I appreciate that to those of you who have been around a while the topic may have been "done to death", but on behalf of us newbies its great.
Every thread has a title, you don't have to read it!
