8. Rumour of the "real JoikuSpot" for N900 has been mentioned (if it is real it will be interesting to see how they tackle the modules issue)
Known issues:
JoikuSpot Linux Beta 0.1 has some issues with current Maemo WLAN driver side. This will cause the N900 to reboot with some laptop models. If this happens, re-start JoikuSpot and try again. Typically second session will work. A fix shall be made as soon as possible.

I'm not expert but that module looks to be quite trivial network hook, they probably have a userland binary that does all the actual work and talks to the kernel via this module.

Started playing with packaging, there is a .deb in the SVN
cat /dev/mtd2 > log.txt
Which will grab all recent oopses.
