OK, this is *not* fun.

I saved a page from ebay. Wanted to extract info from it.

Opened saved file, c&p to Notes. Was getting freezes while editing. Had to reboot.

I decide to try AbiWord. Opened saved file, c&p to AW. Edit away. But as in Notes, I find triple-tapping to be an iffy thing. Then I get this awful smearing text when scrolling.

Finally cut the text down to what I want to send to someone in email. I decide to put the final text back in Notes. Select All, Copy, Close AbiWord, Open Notes, go to Edit menu -- which then tells me *there is no text to paste!*

WTF?

Isn't there a common Clipboard shared by all apps? What's going on here?
