Having downloaded GAIM, I can't figure out how to get it to work. It's in my "extras" and I can open it as well as the "accounts" window. No options come up in the Protocol section, so I just tried putting in my aol screename and password, getting connection error: "missing protocol plugin for <screename>. So, where/how can I get the protocol box to open and if I do, how can I find out what to put in for AOL instant messenger?

Also, an earlier Buddy Icon selection window froze the whole tablet OS, and had to shut off.

EliMay, If you go into the application manager you can see a list of installable items... scroll through the list til you see all the GAIM related stuff, in there you will see items for various protocols like Yahoo, AOL (oscar), ICQ, Zephyr, etc... just install those and the options will magically appear in the account setup on the gaim program.
