I actually prefer Scid over Eboard but the problem with Scid is that the game clocks are poorly implemented.
If there was a way to put digital game clocks above the Castles in portrait mode, it would be close to being perfect for me.

I asked the current author on this but he basically blew me off.
To me, it seems like the best solution for Eboard would be in fact using two screens.

This could be a simple way of changing back and forth between the two screens.
One screen for the game, board, clocks and other information, the second screen for the chatroom and messaging.
Any thoughts on this Bruce?
