One thing really bugs me: how can we make sure that the council becomes meego council too? That would smooth the ride for sure

Comparison of Maemo and Moblin community resources. Closest match is Moblin Steering Committee and all it's members seem to have Intel e-mail adress...

I really would like to see a Transitional council named as soon as it is feasible to do. If current council members would stay for the ride, that's even better (quicker).
In my experience however, transitional activity is labor intense, so you could have ppl stay and elect new ones too.
