I've been holding off buying the N900 for quite some time, mainly due too the Nexus One and the Bravo/Desire. With the news of the Maemo + Moblin merge, it put me off a little, but reading about QT, it'll only help, even if I am stuck with M5. I finally bit the bullet though as I think I'd prefer a hardware keyboard over a virtual one. Time will tell!
I noticed on the Nokia Retail website, the prices seemed to have dropped and have got a deal for an 18 month contract; £30/month, 300mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet, and the phone only cost £18. This seemed like a brilliant deal to turn down, compared too the Vodafone online shop, and CPW. My deal is for T-mobile however, so hopefully the coverage is good. Should be here tomorrow!
Does anyone have any experience with T-Mobile (UK) on the N900 or in general, and what is their 3G like? I'm currently on Orange, and have never used 3G in almost 20 months I've had it, due too poor coverage and the fact that when I drop out of 3G into 2G, anyone calling me next would go straight to my voice mail. This may have been resolved now however, but I don't have internet so I've never turned it back on.
Also, any app recommendations or advice for a beginner Maemo / N900 user would be appreciated!
