Hi there,
I have a bluetooth problem with my N900. It used to be working fine until last week and I just can't turn it on at all.
Whenever I try to turn it on and come back, I got the same bluetooth settings screen attached.
Not sure if it's software related or not. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Please fill the device name and try..
This is not a known issue so we'll need more info

i'm pretty sure there are at least two threads on the forum that discuss these symptoms, with different causes. in my case i had messed with some of the bluetooth files in an incautious manor.

try searching forum for the other threads

Check out Witter, a twitter client for N900
http://danielwould.wordpress.com/witter

If Witter isn't working for you, eg crashes/doesn't start, gives errors etc etc. Please run it from x-term using:
run-standalone.sh python2.5 /opt/witter/witter.py

This will generate diagnostic output. Without this I cannot help you.

Flashing seems to be the only way around this problem. Got it working again. Bluetooth is back. Thanks to everybody who has been even 'considered' being helpful.
