Hi

While I was very pleased to read that a new update had come in for my beautiful Nokia N900, I almost wish i hadn't installed it...

Up until I updated the firmware, I was on T-Mobile's $10/month Unlimited Web for "dumb phones."

When I tried using the data plan yesterday, I was greeted with a message that read:

"Subscription Upgrade Required
Your current plan is not compatible with this device. Please click here to view plan options."

Has anyone else experienced this?

Have you logged into your account to see what phone it's saying you're using?

When it was working for me, I had the Nokia 1680 as my phone.

Should I choose the T-Mobile SIM card as my phone?

choose shadow as your phone and please change it to shadow internet for $10 not the dumb phones.
And use:
internet2.voicestream.com apn others will not work as epc.tmobil.com

So in essence, use epc.tmobile.com as the APN, correct?

Unless you have T-Zones (discontinued service) or smartphone plan this apn will not work.
