Well, first let me apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong place!
I wonder if anyone ever thought about starting to develop some app related to this theme: "Play custom music for an incoming call, according to the contact (by setting the sound through the contact card). I've been looking for this in our forum, but I could not find anything (if this topic has already been discussed please tell me the link).
So, when I was reading the Wiki page "http://wiki.maemo.org/PyMaemo/Phone_call_and_SMS_examples" and ran the sample script to capture the number of the caller, this idea hit me. Could someone recommend me some more reading to try to achieve this goal?

Try this for starters: Custom ringtones for each contact
