It seems to me the device is neither officially supported or officially unsupported. I think a more proper term would be unofficially supported. Not many companies continue to fix something they no longer support nor do they continue to support something they no longer fix.
Not technicall support but support torse the OS so is not fully obsolete.
Thats the point I am trying to make and for the OP to understand he didnt buy a paper weight.
