You sure that's not the haptic feedback? It took me ages to get used to the way the feedback makes it feel like the screen is loose in the casing.

All,
My usb port has not become attached. BUT when I plug anything in the port whatever is connected cycles through being connected and disconnected continuously. And whatever is plugged into the port is loose meaning if I move the cable a bit it will disconnect or reconnect.

At any rate Nokia said the service center is waiting on my replacement phone to get shipped to them. Which seems weird as heck but oh well.

Wish me luck

On an aside it looks like they are going to replace my phone. But remember, my port didn't bust loose, it's just that everything I plug into the port is very loose

I have been swamped with other things so I admit to being a bit confused. Last I knew Nokia issued a statement saying this would be fixed under warranty, and I've seen quotes to that effect here and posted in my blog comments. I ask that affected users be patient and persistent if they can... but right now I'm not sure there's a need for further escalation except in certain individual cases.

Doubtful. Again, that's an FCC submission.

My USB port came off when pulling out the cable. Sent it off to regeneris which are MPDs repair company and heard nothing. Just phoned them they said it wasn't going to be repaired and is being sent back! Apparently the pcb is damaged also and this isn't covered by the warranty!

Surely my phone is still covered by MPDs insurance though?

Called MPD and they have noted my problem and I'm awaiting a call back............

F*****G NOKIA BUILD A PHONE PROPERLY YOU ******S!
you would still be able to claim under your insurance witht them. it covers accidental damage etc.

I don't think its covered by accidental damage as nokia are classing it as consumer misuse :0(
