would you get the firmware faster if you just kept refreshing the tablets-dev.nokia.com page? I remember I downloaded mine 2 hours before people in my area said they saw the update become available on their phone.

probably yes, probably you'll get your IP blocked... depends on the intervals...

e: n900 refreshes catalogs once in 24 hours if you don't do it manually.
