I am able to connect to the router just fine, but when I try to connect to a webpage I get a 'network error'.
The odd thing is that I can open up a web page if I just type in the IP address.
Also I can connect to a media server on my internal network just fine.
So I thought that it might be a DNS problem, so I tried manually assigning the DNS server IP (trying the router, my ISP DNS server, and a free dns server). No luck none of them did anything.
The really odd thing is that I am sometime able to connect and browse the web (seems to work more often when I have left the device off for an extended period).
Also I am able to connected to a neighbor's router and browse normally.
I don't know wtf is going on. I've got the latest firmware for the router (1.8 I think), and the latest OS for the Nokia.
I tried turning on and off every setting on the router that I thought could be causing a problem, but to no avail.
I really hate wireless, it never works right.
anyone have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this? I not really familiar with linux, so I don't really know what options are open to me to attempt a fix.
Thanks
