Yo.

I don't even own an N900, but as I am looking for someone in my region to swap my Nexus One to an N900 with, I've registered and read up on Maemo and the device as a whole.

I actually first heard about 'this place' YEARS ago on another forum, in which the beloved Texrat expressed his finger-lickin' words on how he... something-something Maemo/Nokia something.

Now it's time to switch from WinMO (temp) and Android (perm) to Maemo. I'll most likely just lurk and create a theme or two inbetween the months. I rather like reading moreso than posting.

I'm a tech enthusiast, but, being a medical student, have never had the time to take up developing apps!

However, I am already thrilled with the potential of my brand-new N900, which will surely drive me to put up one or two joke-like apps...

Hi I'm Steve, I have the N900 on a Vodafone contract.

I have a love hate relationship with it.

I hate it that there are not many apps yet and those that are available are still in infancy.

I love being able to sort out the bugs and crashes and in the process learn about Maemo/Linux

I think in 18 months it will be the perfect mini computer with phone capabilities or a Smartphone

Hi I'm Tim.

I've been interested in linux, python and the potential of mobile apps for a while and something about the N900 pushed me over the edge and made me buy a one without a contract.

Now that I've spent way more than I can realistically afford on the handset I'm hoping that the guilt will push me into doing something cool with it

Hi Astute here.

Ex N95, N96, N97 user now dived over to the N900 hence become a member here. Had the phone several days and between self discovery & pointers from this forum a big N900 thumbs up from me

Hopefully not spoken too soon tho.
