The case is not bad at all for the money.
Leaves abt half a cm of the n900 exposed but the advantages are the notification light can be seen and the phone can be easily pulled out of the case. Case is quite sturdy with a belt clip.
It has a magnetic clasp and i have slid the phone into the case
towards and away from body and no magnetic issues here at all. My N900 did not turn on and I did not have any micro SD card issues either.
The phone will have to be off the case for charging, although the headphone socket can be accessed by inserting the phone the other way round.
