I actually first heard about 'this place' YEARS ago on another forum, in which the beloved Texrat expressed his finger-lickin' words on how he... something-something Maemo/Nokia something.

Now it's time to switch from WinMO (temp) and Android (perm) to Maemo. I'll most likely just lurk and create a theme or two inbetween the months. I rather like reading moreso than posting.
Sieg buddy!!!! I am so happy to see you over here! Make sure you check out the theme design section here.

Hi folks!

I'm from the cold North Norway. (No, it doesn't exist polarbears here... :P )
I got the N900, and I loove it. Not really in to Linux right now, but i'll get to it I think. Try to learn as much as I can. AND using the search-tool!

Hi Guys.

Just wanted to say "Hello" and what a great community this seems to be! I'm really glad I found out about it.

I'm really interested in the 900 and hope to get one under contract on voda when my contract is up in a few months. I realize that I could maybe wait for the first meego device but if the top guy wouldn't want to use the first release for daily use that's good enough for me.

I'm not "techy" at all and if truth be told I would probably be better off with an easy front end user experience. But I have never bought into Apple. I like the integration that Android offers, but I have always liked Nokia. - Though it has not been easy. I loved the N95 but hated the constant updates that often failed. Contract meant I missed the 8g version and so I tried Blackberry next giving the n97 a swerve. Grabbed the Storm1, not even 2 and have regretted it for nearly 2 years now. Realistically whichever phone I upgrade to now would be an improvement.

No phone is perfect. Many are fanatically defended regardless it appears. But these two year contracts are a pain when the technology races ahead as fast as it now does, and so I must try this time to make a decent choice! Lol.

I like what i see with the N900, not least it's Tv out of course. I will continue to read all about it with interest and listen to you guys opinion. If and when I get one it's great to know you guys are around.

Cheers.
