Actually, I just bought a 770 from woot.com, I am able to follow some guide to hack my new toy (Running IT2007HE from MMC). But now the N800 able to have those cool functions while 770 dont, thats kinda hurt.


I am not asking when will be the day of new IT2007HE coming, I just want to know if SKYPE and Flash 9 is possible for 770 or not.

So far, not looking likely due to dsp's not being available for the 770 that are available for the n800.

I'm a fellow Woot'er and it looks like we got a good toy, but not one that will be future supported with the nicer things out there.

Well, even 770 is not support with Skype and Flash 9, it still a very nice toy for $129.99

I didn't do much with it, the most I use is the RDesktop to remote schedule some BT download by an old system sitting in my garage. And thats the basic function I am asking for. and I am very happy with it.

As to Skype on the 770, I'd be happy even if I was only able to use messaging. I'm a regular skype user, so I don't want to have to ask my usual contacts to load up AIM/ICQ/Gtalk/Jabber/whatever just because I have this new tablet thing.

Skype and Flash 9 is major functionality. Hopefully they'll throw us 770 users a bone and get some new firmware out eventually.

At this point my friend , you should know that Nokia, Dr Ari Jaaksi and Quim Gil etc. care two hoots about Nokia 770. They made their money off of the 770 and ditched it as soon as they introduced Nokia N800. What they do now, the blogs, the news information ( on ITT and elsewhere ) that they put forth are simply lip service and to even believe them one has to be highly naive.
