When you feel that your tablet is messed up beyond your ability to fix it and you long for the tablet you started out with, it's time to flash.

Programs that you used to be able to run and now won't. Your tablet is slow and is crashing a lot. Suddenly, you hate your N900. All are signs that things are messed up and you should consider reflashing.

Also, if you have never reflashed and are afraid to, you should reflash just for the experience.

we all expect the phone to do things quick and flawless.

when we buy it new, is fast and agile as a cat.

someday (or suddently), you realize that your cat has become fat, hangs a lot by everything, and you want to make it garbage

THEN, you have to reflash

so everything is fine again

in example:

I have flashed 2 times my n900 in 2 months.

1) Playing with extras-devel without realizing the risks, i have installed an app who mess the sudoers file. some hours later, the developer fixed the bug, but my n900 was unable to install new apps, write in /tmp and receive sms.Time to reflash

2) Playing with the configuration settings, i have touched a lot things like tracker, init.d, /etc, installed certain daemons manually, and then i realize that i dont know the way back . My n900 was slow and the battery drain fast. Time to reflash.
